We don't know how it happens, but every year around Christmas, we seem to have so many big boxes, and not enough small boxes for presents. Up until now it was just wasted cardboard — but not anymore.
It's all thanks to Springfield, Ohio, photographer Tanya Hayner Stewart, who posted this handy video demonstrating how to transform half of a big box into a smaller box:
Stewart learned the trick from her sister-in-law 30 years ago, reports, but only recently asked her son to record the process so she could share it with her church. "I was doing it for them, hoping it would help somebody," she told the newspaper.
The day after Stewart posted the video online, it had 1 million views. To date, it's racked up more than 17 million views, proving we're all in need of more . Stewart has garnered national attention as a result, and even appeared on an episode of Good Morning America, during a segment on "."
