When was the last time you were browsing the supermarket dairy aisles and really felt like something was missing? Do you think the void would be filled by a Wensleydale that looks pink and tastes like ? Probably, to be honest.
In one company's attempt to pack all things millennial into one product, pink prosecco cheese now exists. And we'd be lying if we said we weren't keen to give it a try.
The new creation by cheese gurus The Great British Cheese Company almost looks like some kind of delicious dessert but the brand is confident it will be a Christmas hit.
"The idea to pair Prosecco and Raspberry with Wensleydale produces savory, sweet and acidic flavor combinations," a spokesperson for the company told .
"Crumbly but milky Wensleydale, sweetness from Raspberries and the acidity from Prosecco produces a creamy but sweet raspberry flavored cheese, with the Prosecco acidity cutting through your palette as you ."
See that actually all sounds rather dreamy, don't you think?
