Okay, Team Drew fans, before you @ me, hear me out. Look, I knooooow Property Brothers star Drew Scott wrote and recorded a song for his bride, and I can appreciate that kind of cheese as much as the next romantic, but he's a loser. I mean this in the nicest, most literal way possible.
It's true: Jonathan Scott is officially the better Property Brother. That is, at least, after last night's season 6 finale of , a show that takes sibling rivalry to the next level, as the two compete to turn the highest profit in a house they buy, reno, and resell. In the nail-biting finale — spoiler alert! — Jonathan reclaimed the "best Property Brother" title from his identical twin brother (who won last season), by selling his eco-chic home in the suburbs of San Francisco for $8,000 more than Drew sold his.
“The trophy never felt good in Drew’s hands, but it feels home right here,” the better Property Brother said, before Drew added, “it never feels good to lose, especially to Jonathan. He’s going to rub it in for the next year, just like I did to him last year.”
Of course, it's hard to truly consider one brother better than the other, considering the profits both turn on their houses go to a great cause. The combined $20,000 the two earned will benefit , a U.S. non-profit organization that "revitalize(s) neighborhoods by providing free home repairs and modifications to homeowners in need."
And, when you really tally up the wins over the show's six-season run, they're pretty evenly matched, boasting 3 wins apiece.
Fine, maybe they're both the best ...
