What do you consider solid amenities in an apartment building? On-site parking spaces for every tenant, or perhaps a fitness center with some treadmills? Some buildings or condominium associations really have to compete with each other to offer ever-more-luxurious extras for their wealthy residents—and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are two people who will benefit from the latest offering at Miami's .
As reported last month, Kanye bought his wife a pretty nice Christmas present: a $14 million condo in what is known as the "Billionaire Beach Bunker." The Faena House has 41 luxury apartments, each designed to max out ocean views with floor-to-ceiling windows and wraparound terraces. Amenities include a 24-hour doorman, spa, pool, and gym, and starting this month, the services of , a mobile app that provides on-site car refueling.
How does Gasmob work? The app looks almost like Uber but with offerings like Postmates or Seamless. Users note the location of their vehicle, the type of fuel they want, and how much they want to spend (or just "fill tank"). Then they give a window of availability. Then, like magic, a delivery person goes to their car and fills it up with gas. So much more convenient than having to actually go to a gas station, like a plebe.
As of January 16, Faena House is offering Gasmob services without membership or delivery fees, per a press release from the company. All residents need to do is download the app and pay for the gas. The unpleasant chore is avoided forevermore!
Kim recently confirmed that the pair is expecting their fourth child via surrogate, so anything that can help a very busy family of six is probably especially appreciated right now. As are those ocean views.
