We've seen , and even , but ombre wedding dresses? That's a comeback we weren't expecting!

Yes, while BoredPanda recently its rise in popularity, this actually isn't ombre's first time around the wedding trend circuit. No Doubt fans may remember that Gwen Stefani wore a by John Galliano at Christian Dior for her 2002 wedding to Gavin Rossdale.

While the trend didn't immediately catch on when Stefani got married, we're pretty excited to see it making the rounds again. It's a unique, creative twist on the traditional gown that still looks just as elegant.

Some of today's gowns are on the subtler side, blending pale colors with white:
