18 Reasons Fall Is So Much Better Than Summer

For starters, it's finally sweater season again.

Even though summer is the season of beach days, barbecues and lobster rolls, we'll pass. To be honest, we'd trade in an iced coffee for a pumpkin spiced latte any day, and we'd gladly skip those sticky, sweaty months altogether if we could. These are the reasons we're on Team Autumn.

1 Pumpkin spice everything.

2 All of the sweaters.

9 The kids are back in school.

Finally. Sure, we love 'em, but that doesn't mean fall isn't a welcome change of pace (to put it nicely).

10 Making soup without sweating.

In fact, the extra heat from the stove actually feels good during this season. Also, you can only make delicious recipes like carrot ginger soup when there's a chill in the air.

11 Wearing socks to cover up chipped pedis.

12 Tailgate season.
