When people refer to a dish you made as "unforgettable," they really mean it in one of two ways: (1) It was so unbelievably good they'll try in vain to replicate it for the rest of their lives, only to come up woefully short of your masterful cooking; or (2), it was such a horrific disaster they still cringe at the very memory of its flavor and will forever try to pass it off as "not so bad."
No one better exemplifies the latter than the iconic episode of Friends where Rachel (a.k.a. Jennifer Aniston) makes a trifle. Two pages of her cookbook get stuck together, causing her to make half of a raspberry-custard trifle — and half of a shepherd's pie. See it for yourself:
