Corner Gallery Walls Are the Designer-Approved Way to Decorate Your Home's Naked Nooks

Though the gallery wall craze is certainly nothing new (and, indeed, some may say designers are ditching gallery walls for giant, often frameless artwork), one designer is offering up a solid argument for why they should stay, with a clever twist on your usual layout. Designer Nicole Davis of created an inspiring gallery wall to transform the eating nook of her gorgeous , and we can't stop thinking about it.

Using all black and white family photographs, Davis let the once empty dining nook walls tell a personal story. "If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this wall has a lot to say," the designer shared in her Instagram post for the project.

While basic gallery walls may be going out of style, there's always room to put a twist on traditional ways of decorating. Because who wouldn't want to optimize their wall space? Especially when you have dozens of beautiful photos to showcase. Personally, I stan this way of inviting your corners into the dinner party conversation—no part of the wall should ever be left out.

Fellow designer Emily Henderson used Nicole's gorgeous wall as inspiration for her own , though she chose to arrange her collection of black and white family photos in a classic gallery wall style. But injecting personal stories and familial history into a gallery wall was exactly the inspo she needed for her old family photographs.
