We know that televisions are a necessary piece of equipment for any home (how else will I watch 85 reruns of Fixer Upper in a row?!) but they sometimes can, well...ruin the "look" we've got going on in certain areas of our house. TVs can be large, clunky, and an eyesore to any design lover. Luckily, our savior Drew Barrymore—who recently started her own gorgeous line of decor with Walmart—let us in on a little secret about how to hide our sad screens when they're not in use.
The Flower Home owner divulged her life hack in an eye-opening Instagram story, and we'll be forever grateful. Drew uses her macramé wall art hanging (ordered straight from Etsy, obviously) to expertly hide her television, and TBH I wish I thought of this earlier. Did I mention the Never Been Kissed actress also revealed that she loves watching reruns of Fixer Upper?! I mean, what else are TVs even for?
Using the hashtag #FlowerHomeHack, Drew said that she uses this trick when she wants her bedroom to feel more feminine—and it's a super easy hack to copy and make your own. Etsy has tons of macramé wall art for sale in a slew of colors that can hide any monstrosity in your home, even if it's just a plasma television.
Drew, if you're reading this—we're gonna need some more #FlowerHomeHack Instagram stories, and stat!
