Calling all bookworms: This Paris loft is "the" spot for your next vacation. Sure, it has countless cozy spots for you to curl up in as you flip through your latest read, but that's not why we're obsessed with this rental — it's the two-story bookshelf. It just might be the chicest French decor statement since Amelie's red bedroom.
Located in an ancient industrial building, the converted loft features bohemian decor and an open living plan. Since the stairs to the second level run next to the wall, it became the perfect spot to stack books as high as the ceiling — no ladder necessary. After picking out a new hardback, you can have your pick of quiet reading spots: The vintage armchairs in the living room, the couches in the alcove, or one of the five all-white bedrooms. Our recommendation? The tub with a cappuccino in hand.
Exposed white-washed brick, antique wooden furniture, and lots of greenery gives the home a calming vibe that will surely make you want to stay in your pajamas all day. But if you do decide to get out and explore the city, the neighborhood offers tons of sightseeing. Nearby blocks are packed with bars and restaurants, or you can check out the Sunday market and whip up a gourmet meal at home in the vintage kitchen.
