After more than a year on the housing market, Kelly Clarkson is still hoping to sell her insane 20,ooo-square-foot mansion in Hendersonville, Tennessee for $8.75 million, .
But how is it still on the market? The price may be a factor. Sure, most of us can't shell out millions for a new home, even if it does have seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. But it's far from being the priciest home out there — Rob Lowe's selling his place for $47 million, making Kelly's ask almost seem like chump change by comparison. The listing price is roughly three times what Kelly and hubby Brandon Blackstock paid when they bought it in 2013 ($2.8 million, the site reports). There had to have been some serious renovations, in addition to the market improving overall.
Check out the photos of the house below, and you can be the judge. If you had a cool $8.75 mil lying around, would you put out an offer?
Off to a wonderful start.
