It's no wonder people have watched this video of two brooms—seemingly sweeping on their own volition—more than 34,000 times: For a second, you've got to question whether it's CGI. Or pinch-and-zoom to see if there's fishing wire suspending them in midair. No, finally you feel as if you have the answer—clearly, it's a with a very Fantasia-esque broom glued to the top of it. Yes, that has to be it!
But you'd be wrong. The viral video (which others keep reposting and sharing, leading it to be one of the top #halloweendecor posts on Instagram) shows an actual product in action. They're the creation of November Sage Apothecary, a Palisades Park, NJ, boutique that specializes in witchy wares, like spell candles, ritual oils, and a wide range of crystals and gems.
In a nod to self-sweeping brooms shown in movies and on TV, the shop has recently started selling its own motorized version. Standing at 47 inches tall, the brooms slowly glide across the room, making looping circles as they swoop around your space. Each one will set you back $89, but it can be ordered online at , so you don't have to live near Jersey to get your hands on one. While this design's more decorative than anything—it "may" help clean, according to the product description—it's a lot cheaper than buying a and attaching a broom to it. And it's sure to clean up all the compliments at your Halloween party, that's for sure.
