All right, here's the deal: I stan a cute gallery wall, but nails and hammers are my eternal enemy. One time, in a sad attempt to hang floating shelves, I messed up so tragically that the anchors got stuck in the wall, and I had to cover it all up by hanging photos on top of them. So, in the name of wall decor sans the mess, I present to you the no-nail gallery wall.
It will take you all of 25 minutes to make, and the main tools are stage frame clips, pictures, and Command Strips. Once you decide on your photos, lay them out on the ground to figure out exactly how you want them arranged. Then, take a picture, just in case you forget the order (or really want to make sure you like it).
My biggest tip after that is to measure the height and width of your gallery wall of photos—so you know exactly how much space on the wall it will take up—then use masking tape to mark out those dimensions on the wall. It's almost like creating a frame, so you don't mess up your spacing—or start adding photos at an angle. This masking-tape frame is a huge help, because once the tape outline is centered and level, all you'll have to do is stick the photos on to the wall. Easy! Watch exactly how to make it in the video above.
