We waited forever for a name and we've had to wait 12 days for official photos, but Prince Louis has now made his close-up debut on Instagram.
Tonight Kensington Palace released two photos of the littlest royals, taken by the Duchess of Cambridge herself:
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, taken by The Duchess at Kensington Palace. This image of Prince Louis was taken by The Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace on 26th April," the statement reads.
We also got to see an adorable photo of Princess Charlotte with her new baby brother:
Can you even with Charlotte? First her wave, and now a kiss! The photo above was actually taken on Charlotte's 3rd birthday, which was May 2. Initially, it was reported that Kate Middleton didn't share any photos of Charlotte as she usually does because the royal family was much too busy with the new baby. There were also rumors that Prince William and Kate didn't want to overexpose Charlotte to the media, so you can imagine how excited people are over these pictures.
Oh, and if you're thinking that little blue cardigan Charlotte is wearing looks familiar, you're right! As one royal fan pointed out on Twitter, the princess appears to be wearing the same Fina Ejerique sweater her older brother Prince George wore in a portrait of Queen Elizabeth by Annie Leibovitz for the monarch's 90th birthday.
Ah, we cannot wait to see photos of all three of the little royals together!
