I dream of a sleek white kitchen with marble countertops and patterned backsplashes. In reality, I have a rental with sad cabinets and nothin' but white walls. I can't change anything — and even if I could, it would cost too much money — so I set out for the easiest solution: New hardware.
I took to Amazon, as I always do when I'm looking for apartment items on a budget, and found gold knobs that would eventually transform my kitchen. They were $20 for a pack of 20, and gave my cabinets a much-needed face lift. That's $1 a knob! A $20 kitchen renovation! Take that, Property Brothers.
It's almost laughable how something as simple as hardware can change a look and feel of your space. See for yourself:
Regardless of the price, the gold hardware feels and looks expensive. If you're looking to change things up but not spend all of your money, IDK what you're waiting for. This is the best $20 I've ever spent.
