Drew and Jonathan Scott are best known for their popular HGTV show Property Brothers, but the duo has expanded their empire with other ventures. Their show has spawned spinoffs like Brother vs. Brother, Buying and Selling, and Property Brothers: At Home, and they've also released three books. The brothers have also announced a new home lifestyle collection with Kohl's, coming in fall 2019, and you can even catch a cruise to the Bahamas with them this December. Still not enough Scott brothers for you? Now, Drew and Jonathan are developing a new scripted series on Fox.
As reports, the new sitcom will be titled It Takes Two, and it's based on the brothers' memoir of the same name, which was released last year.
Their memoir explained how the brothers came to be the real estate gurus the world knows today, and their new show will do more of the same, as the series will "follow two entrepreneurial twin brothers who decide to join forces in the real estate business when they realize they are stronger together than apart," as reports. It's unclear whether or not the brothers will appear on the show—or if we'll see actors playing them.
In a fun twist of fate, the series, which doesn't have a release date yet, will be written and executive produced by Jon and Josh Silberman, who are also identical twin brothers. The Silbermans are most known for writing and producing for shows like It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and Drew and Jonathan will serve as executive producers, as well.
