It's a whole new world.

I don't know about you, but I am loving the new interpretations of classic Disney films and, thanks to insane special effects, costume teams, and set designers, the live-action remakes are truly epic. , coming in 2019, is no exception.

The film features Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, and Will Smith as the Genie (bless), so the movie's flawless cast alone will almost undoubtedly draw large crowds. But after watching the full-length trailer that's been released and seeing the photos, I'm convinced the set design might be the best part of it all.

Based on what I've seen so far, the live-action version will blow audiences away. According to an interview with the film's director, Guy Ritchie, the team ended up building a set the size of approximately two football fields to create the fictional Agrabah in southeast England.

"Both Disney and Ritchie had to tackle how to update and its cast to avoid the cultural inaccuracies and insensitivities that the fell into," continues. So Gemma Jackson, the movie's production designer, "drew inspiration from Moroccan, Persian, and Turkish cultures, Victorian paintings, and Iznik ceramics" to really get the setting right.

Naturally, I'm particularly stoked to see what the castle ends up looking like in this space. How will they recreate this nostalgic architectural masterpiece?:

From what we've seen of the inside so far, it's absolutely gorgeous and I'm living for all the gold, intricate details, and natural light. And the castle won't be the only set feature to admire. Gemma notes there will be those narrow alleys, clustered roofs, and markets, which I imagine will be incredible as well. See for yourself:
