Another Kardashian-Jenner birthday, another truly extravagant party. The family celebrated Kourtney Kardashian turning 40 last night in floor-length gowns at one of their more glamorous, formal birthday gatherings. But there were plenty of cheeky jokes incorporated into the decor: There was a bathtub cake featuring a naked Kourtney on it, custom wine bottles that called Kourtney "the most interesting to look at" (a reference to on the family's show), and napkins with Kourtney's iconic Keeping Up With the Kardashians quote, "Kim, there are people that are dying."
Party decor featured a lot of string lights, a saxophone player, and sparklers for Kourtney's grand entrance:
All of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters were there in evening attire. Khloé went the most 1920s in a sparkly, crystal-adorned gown with a cap by Yousef Al-Jasmi. Kendall was in a pink dress while Kylie wore a sparkly crop top and matching column skirt. Kim and Kourtney were both in black. Kim herself was in Versace.
Guests at the party included Paris Hilton and Sia, who performed unmasked.
Kourtney's two exes Scott Disick and Younes Bendjima were also there. Bendjima, the 25-year-old model , posted an Instagram Story from the party, confirming his attendance:
Disick, meanwhile, appeared in Kim's Instagram Story briefly:
Disick and Kourtney, reported yesterday, are actually doing really great now so his presence at the party was very welcomed. They've put the drama "behind them," a source said. “It hasn’t been easy, but now she’s in a great place with Scott."
The source added that Kourtney is dating, although she's much more discerning about who she gets close to. “Kourtney likes having someone in her life," a source told the outlet. "She loves being a mom and that’s always her priority, but she can get lonely too. She goes on dates and has fun, but she doesn’t have a boyfriend and would never call any of these guys her ‘boyfriend.’ She’s been through a lot, personally, over the last decade and feels she’s come out stronger and happier. So she’s excited about turning 40 and what’s to come.”
