If you thought Japan's most beautiful flower was the cherry blossom, you're wrong. Every year, from late April through mid-June, millions of moss phlox flowers burst into bloom across the country, creating a truly arresting sight.
There are multiple parks that afford this incredible view, like in Hokkaido and in Takasaki City. Additionally, the area near Mount Fuji is also home to the famous . (Shibazakura means "pink moss" or "moss phlox.")
We might just have to book a Japan next spring, but for now, these photos are enough to make our brains buzz with delight.
