Interior designer Celerie Kemble of New York and Palm Beach builds a living room with fabrics from her fashionable new collection for Schumacher. "I wasn't thinking couture as much as ready-to-wear. I didn't want designs that were so exotic they weren't useful in a thousand different ways."

I made it outlandish with imaginary flowers and colors that are vibrant and versatile — slate, pale blue, chalky white, and a natural, hempy linen. So beautiful on a sofa.
